Can you believe that 2021 is coming to a close?! Today I want to talk about the best wellness podcasts of 2021…in my opinion of course. 

I’m going to share some of the BEST podcasts that helped keep me motivated but also gave me peace of mind! These are my favs, and I’m positive that you’ll love them too. Keep in mind that my recommendations are not in any particular order!

Are podcasts good for your health?

To answer simply…YES! Podcasts are absolutely fantastic for your health.

Podcasts are great for stimulating your brain and helping you expand your knowledge. There is such a variety of podcasts to listen to…so much to learn! So for brain health alone, podcasts are so good for you!

Podcasts can also motivate you and teach you the discipline to help you become the best version of yourself. Listening to podcasts each day helps me feel my best and, quite honestly, boosts my energy for the rest of the day.

So yes, you should definitely listen to podcasts. But listening to the RIGHT podcasts is the next step! Find ones that make you FEEL good and teach you new things. This criterion is so important when you want to prioritize yourself and your health. That’s why this post is so important!

So, what are the best wellness podcasts of 2021?

The Balanced Blonde // Soul on Fire

Jordan Younger has created a beautiful space to talk about all things wellness and spirituality. I am always so impressed by what she has to say in each episode. She is smart and knows her stuff. Not to mention, Jordan is one of THE sweetest people on the planet. 

Another amazing thing about Jordan is that she brings on the COOLEST guests. There are a lot of doctors and specialists that come to talk on her podcast, and they really add so much depth to the episodes. 

I have learned so much from The Balanced Blonde and I genuinely recommend it for everybody!

The Skinny Confidential: Him & Her Podcast

I like to think of The Skinny Confidential as my “baddie” podcast. It is hosted by Lauryn and Michael Bosstick, and let me tell you, they are SO cool and SO incredible. By the end of listening to an episode, you’re going to want to be like Lauryn. 

Just like The Balanced Blonde, The Skinny Confidential brings in super fascinating guests to talk with them. They also cover such a broad range of topics. You always know that you’re going to learn something. 

I’ve also learned how to be more kind and compassionate towards others through listening to this podcast. There are SO many people from different backgrounds that Lauryn and Michael interview, and it is very eye-opening, which I appreciate! Lauryn is also just so genuinely kind, and I really respect her. Michael likes to play the “devil’s advocate” a lot, which I can appreciate too, haha!

Healthy Human Revolution

I’m going to be completely transparent right now… my sweet mom recommended this podcast to be and I love it, so I have to give her a shoutout. This podcast is hosted by Dr. Laurie Marbas. She is SO knowledgeable. I could listen to her talk forever!

Her podcast revolves around improving your health by changing what you eat. It definitely is catered to plant-based diets, which I personally love. Going plant-based can be super beneficial, and I love how they talk about scientific evidence to back up their claims.

If you’re looking to improve your health or you may be interested in a plant-based diet, I totally would recommend listening to Healthy Human Revolution

80/20 by Lily Rakow

I have SUCH a love for this podcast. I feel so calm listening to Lily speak, and I love hearing about her different thoughts on holistic health and wellness! I also really appreciate how much she interacts with her following. I respect and look up to her a low.

Did I mention that she has the most calming voice?

Lily’s podcast episodes are usually around 20-30 minutes, so perfect for a quick listen. They are also SUPER motivational and will energize you to get sh*t done! Lily is a really great example of what “that girl” looks like, but in the absolute best way possible.

If you’re looking to become your highest self, listen to 80/20.

MIMI by Mimi Bouchard

I don’t know if I’ve ever really talked about Mimi Bouchard on my blog, but I am genuinely so inspired by her. She is an amazing role model to me, and I love everything that she does. She runs a business and focuses so much on health and wellness. 

Not only that, but she is a SMART cookie. I feel like I’m always learning new things from her. I don’t know if I should say I’m obsessed…but I’m obsessed. If you want to become your highest self, I think it is great to follow people who share similar qualities to who you believe your highest self would be. Mimi is that person for me!

I would totally recommend listening to Mimi for all things wellness and if you want motivation to achieve your wildest dreams.

Drink More Water

Sophie Miller and Riley Dixon are about the cutest people on the planet, and they are some of my favorite podcasters as well. I’ve been following Sophie for quite a while, mostly through youtube, so when I saw she had a podcast I HAD to listen. I quickly fell in love with Riley as well!

This podcast is like a break for my mind. I love just listening to two besties having a fun conversation and laughing a whole lot! They talk about amazing topics, but also it’s easy on the brain. If I’ve been sitting in lectures all day and need a break, they are my go-to girls.

For You, From Eve

I believe that Olivia is an absolute angel. Her podcast could be considered new, but that shouldn’t discredit her at all. She is AMAZING and has so many great things to talk about.

I also appreciate that Olivia is also a college student, and it’s nice to relate to a podcaster in this way. Like 80/20, Olivia’s podcast episodes range usually from 20-30 minutes, so a quick and easy listen. 

Olivia really tries to get her listener’s feedback and questions, so each episode just gets better and better. She has been a recent find for me, but I couldn’t recommend it enough. This podcast is going places!

Mindset Magic and Manifestation Podcast

This podcast is hosted by the one and only, Mikayla Jai! An absolute angel.

If you’re wanting to create your dream life through the law of attraction, this podcast is the perfect one for you. Mikayla is so great at explaining how the law of attraction works and gives different methods and tools to utilize it.

Some of my weekly habits have come from listening to this specific podcast. There are so many original ideas to incorporate into your life…

ILYSM with Kenzie Elizabeth

Oh man, the way I could go on about Kenzie. I have been a long-time fan of hers. I look up to her SO much. 

I started out watching her vlogs on Youtube, and from there I found her podcast! She is always bringing on a wide range of different guests and covers various topics. Some weeks are fun and make you laugh, but others will leave you thinking.

Something I love about Kenzie is that she is SO smart (maybe because she is such a bookworm). I feel like she just has so much to share and thinks so deeply. ILYSM really provokes so much thought!

Kenzie truly does it all. I believe that her podcast is for EVERYONE. I cannot recommend listening and supporting Kenzie enough. She is amazing. You’ll love it!

Also, just a side note. I did in fact JUST purchase her merch. I love her that much. I’m so excited.
